From time to time I get someone to ask me to design them something, whether its a sales flyer or a complete web site. About 90% of the time I tell them to take a hike 30 seconds into their sales pitch trying to convince me to do it. Its never about the money, I could always use the money… it’s that I always seem to have someone wanting me to redesign the wheel for them at a rate completely unreasonable.
I found this graphic recently and I think I’m just going to give it to anyone that wants my services before they even start talking. Not to be an ass (well, maybe a little bit), but to save both of us some time.
