Working on redesigning my home page and part of that requires a new logo. Its probably hard to see the image above here as its intended for my home page, but if you keep reading you will get the full explanation and a black and white copy of the image.
Usually when I design something I find myself throwing it back 100 times then eventually settling for something less than desirable. For the first time in my life I actually have something I am more than pleased with.
It’s an anagram of my name, but created in a way you have probably never seen before.
I started with taking my name written in Korean:
My name is Adm, [ad-uh
m] and uses the letters seen below:
In the Korean language you can’t start a letter with a vowel, and the circle is a consonant to allow a vowel to be used. Following we have A-D-A-M. Korean writes words exactly as they sound so my name Adm, has to be spelled with the second “A” in this case.
I re-sized them so they are all the same height and fit the way I want them to, then stacked them on top of each other and I got the following image.
Make it a little prettier… then a few adjustments and I got this:
Which is the simple black and white version which can be embossed into anything, cut to be a stencil, and used 100 different ways. This was the hardest step as the next step will be a little easier adding color and special effects. Really excited over it as I feel like a little kid that got a bike for Christmas!
