CoolCop is a Hose That Runs AC Right Into Your Shirt

Ever have those day where the A/C in the car isn’t cold enough?  Well just imagine being forced to drive around on one of those days with an extra 200 pounds of donuts fat wrapped up in a bullet proof vest.  One solution someone thought up was to install a hose from a vacuum cleaner to the vent in the car, and shove it down their shirt.

Now they are marketing this concept to cops, and then charging $50 for it.  I’m not familiar with the bullet-proof vests that police wear, but the flack vests with ceramic plates they had us wearing while I was in the Army, were ungodly hot!  I can understand why this would be ideal for them and why the marketing plan is focused solely around cops.  But I still think a vacuum hose running down my shirt might be a little overkill.

On a hot day there’s nothing more uncomfortable than having to wear a T-shirt soaked with sweat. Add a bulletproof vest over it and no amount of air conditioning coming from your car vent is going to keep you cool and dry.

The CoolCop dash attachment attaches easily to the air conditioning vent. The soft vinyl vest attachment fits comfortably between your vest and undershirt. Cool air is then delivered under your vest to keep you cool, dry and comfortable.

In just minutes your T-shirt is as dry as it was in briefing.
