I was bed-ridden all weekend cause of a cold and had nothing better to do that to make another video of some recent footage that I took. Due to the nature of the content of the video I am not publically releasing it. The file has a password on it and I will only give it to someone that I know personally, and can trust. If you think that included you, then ask me for the password. Otherwise your going to have to wait until this January when I PCS.
My first brand new car

Now that I am finally going back to the states one of the first things I needed to buy was a car. Also since I will be living about 12 hours from my family I wanted to have a car that I knew wouldn’t break down on me, or give me the common problems that you get with buying a used car. So I did some searching and then some talking with the wife and agreed on getting either an SUV or a minivan. Which meant we were getting an SUV. Due to various reason that I won’t go into, I wanted a Chrysler. Being a Dodge or a Jeep.
I picked up a brochere at the dealer for the Dodge Caliber. Starting looking at some of the options it has and instantly fell in love with it. My wife picked orange as the color. I don’t know why, but she did. Not seeing the car in person its hard to say as of yet if the color is a good choice, but some of the pictures I have seen it doesn’t look like it should be too bad.
The options are what convinced me the most though. Some stuff that I would never even thought that I could have in a car like a cooler are in this car.
The A/C is routed into the glove box so that up to 4, 20oz bottles can be chilled to about 45 degrees. With an extra compartment above the glove box.
The rear tailgate has dropdown speakers, for what reason I am not sure but it looks kewl.
The dome light has a detachable, rechargeable, LED flashlight.
The center console has an iPod mount, however I was hoping that I would never have to buy an iPod I might have to now.
Lots of other features like auto-stick, air filter for inside the car, and more that I probably don’t know yet. I don’t get the car until sometime in Feburary. They can’t give me an exact date until it hits the factory and my loan approval just came back the other day. I am hoping by the end of next week I will know cause I would like to drive it while on vacation in the states. If not, then Dad, I am stealing the Jeep, not the minivan.
