Lab results are back

Went and got my lab test back from the clinic to see what the deal was with the chest pain (that is almost non-existant now). Apparently I have kidney stones. Fun shit! :vomit:

Just in time for the holidays too. I think its about time I start watching my health a little better anyway. Father has had a heart attack, grandfather double bypass, I have a baby on the way, and I’m less than three years away from hitting 30. I have had more than enough wake up calls, not I just have to act on them and start watching myself.

Making another attempt with Site5

After looking all around the internet and trying to find a decent host it seems that Site5 has the most bang for your buck. 11gigs of web space, 400gigs of bandwidth a month, unlimited MySQL’s, unlimited e-mail addresses, unlimited subdomains, frontpage extensions if I wanted to host a frontpage site again (doubt it), plus things I need for my site like ImageMagick and GD which are neat little programs installed on the servers computer that will resize a picture automatically for me when I want it too. So I just have to upload the original picture and it will make as many whatever sized pics I want. For my photo gallery it is a thumbnail, browser friendly sized, and the original. (yeah, I have 3 copies of each picture in my photo gallery.

I have dealt with these guys before and I don’t right hate the customer support. However I also know that once I get everything setup (takes longer with these guys) I shouldn’t have to contact them with anything. So even though I don’t like them, the largest plan comes with 27gigs of space, and my host shut me down a little while ago cause their largest plan offers 3gigs and I am using 3.5 right now. (I run three domain names off this account too.) So if the site gets shifted around alot and gets shut down for a little while this is why. Hopefully it won’t take more than a week of this but christmas is only a couple days away too and if I have to contact them on something I don’t think they will be as quick to answer.

I finally got a screenshot of my site hosted on Alexa.com

If your wondering what that is, Alexa is a site that takes every site in the world and gives them a rank. Yahoo is number one and has been for a while. But you can search for your own web site or see who’s on top in the world or just one country. (Naver is number 1 in Korea but 15 in the world). Its kinda like a popularity test.

You can see my info here. I am the 988,360th most popular site in the world. Which is up 215,741, from what I don’t know.

However Marmot is ranked 184,938 and The Lost Nomad is 811,006. I didn’t think the Marmot was that popular.

Adium for Mac??

Getting pissed off with the new version of AIM. Sometimes it works other times it doesn’t. Basically all day it doesn’t want to sign on, the rest of my internet works fine just not AIM. So I said “Fuck it” and went looking for an alternative. While searching I have noticed that there is a program that runs all the chat clients out there for the Mac. Not a big shocker I have seen lots of them…, most of the time they suck but sometimes they aren’t too bad. However this one is called Adium X?!?!?

I thought my little name Adium was unique and clever…, (my name being Adam, but spelt ADM, which you would pronounce Adium A-D-M). Adam is a hebrew name however in the hebrew language they rarely use vowels so when the spell Adam, they spell it (in romanized form) Adm. Actually it would look like Mda seeing they read right to left but when romanized Adam in hebrew is properly translated into Adm, my name.

Looking for a name on the internet that didn’t have any numbers or any slang or some other stupid shit I figured that Adium was a good choice for a name to use on the internet. I registered it on just about every chat server I can think of, only two places I have noticed that I was too late. Registering Adium.com (otherwise you would be there now reading this) and getting the account Adium on AIM.

These mother-fuckers want to name shit after me and not even tell me…,!?!?!! WTF!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t know, I have seen the name elsewhere on the internet but not like this since these guys came out with this. Should of copyrighted the name and sued their asses. Looks like I am getting pushed away from Adium and more towards RazorNylon for an internet name more than I wanted,
